Autonomous Ride-Sharing Experience

Autonomous ride-sharing is likely to be the potential “public transit” in the future. This change brings innovations not only in the way we travel, but also in passenger relationships in smaller vehicles. How to create human-centred environments and feasible interactions for strangers sharing the space, time and experience? Designers need to consider safety, intimacy and social demands at the same time.

My design is exploring and proposing different types of vehicles in the near future. Passengers could  choose location and destination in advance to minimise conflicts and fulfil special needs.

Crying car

This vehicle provides relaxing space for people who need to express powerful emotions and suffer from psychological or emotional pain. It allows 4 people to sit together.

Warm up car

This car is designed for people on the way to/from concerts.

Walking car

There is no fixed seats inside, suitable for short distance.
