The gleaners shared the loot
Our mythological legacy is first and foremost located in our muscles, our nerves and senses that irrigate the mind, just as well as the tip of our finger, with sensations, images, shapes. The object on which our mind set itself on, reveals itself secretly to us. This intimate epiphany, as an embryo of the myth, settles quietly within us, never to leave. Those assaults of the form on the affect proclaim the truth it holds, and through its transhumance through time and space, contact among individual experiences. We then need to bend into ourselves to grasp these images as french poet Joachim Du Bellay said it « as we see the gleaners, walking step by step, gathering the relics of what falls behind the harvester ».
