CAD print for fabric
‘Daydream Believer’ is a fashion fabric collection inspired by the idea of daydreaming. Focusing on unstable crossovers between reality and dream, frozen fragments in time, double exposure and after-images from staring at the sun, it combines digital, colour and surface interference to visually challenge the viewer. My design ethos is concerned with the minutiae of the everyday. Collecting and combining visual information that could be seen as mistake, when juxtaposed and put into context, can say something quite different, playing on the relationship between order and chaos. Communicating atmosphere without words excites me, be it through print, fashion or film.
