The story of this project started with the observation of three significant trends; miniaturisation, digitisation and ubiquitous computing. Used in combination, they make it possible for almost any object in the analogue world to include digital information. However, the design thinking within ubiquitous computing is to embed this digital information in the peripheral so users are somewhat unaware of its existence.

What though if we make the seams between the digital and analogue worlds visible? Is it possible to reach into and adapt the digital world and thus our analogue one? The aim of the project was to explore these questions further.
