MA work

MA work

I have been making decorative objects using function and pattern as a narrative to express reoccurring concerns in my work. This has enabled me to explore the possibilities of adding intrinsic value to an object by using materials, craftsmanship, time and pattern as different variables. My current work centres on the distribution of pattern across surface and the relation of colour and form. My aim is to create vessels that speak of beauty, value and craftsmanship.
