MA work

MA work

Using Zaha Hadid as my initial inspiration, I created my own artwork which involved slotting and layering forms. With this background I then developed a collection that explored the contrast of structure and fluidity in garments. Using fabric techniques of bonding and embossing, the garments have decorative elements that are clean and modern. The fabrics of the collection include worsted wools and jerseys to impart the feelings of luxury and a sense of modernity, which is also echoed in the directional and pure colour choice.
