MA work
MA work
Much of my work is concerned with voyeurism, human curiosity — often in its morbid manifestation — and issues of transgression beyond visible or physical boundaries.
What makes death, violence or any kind of emotional injury so fascinating for most of us? Where does our appetite for sensational TV talk shows and for self-exposure via Internet blogs come from? What significance do intimacy and privacy have in a society in which private space has almost disappeared and secrets have become a true luxury of our time?
These are some of the questions I explore and challenge through sound, moving image and painting.
