MA work

MA work

As a designer and image-maker my work is always a reaction against a subject, therefore I work in many different mediums. Although my work is always conceptual, I find much enjoyment in the process and the making of the work.

I am interested in how we make aesthetic judgements and the subjectivity of taste. Over the last year I have been looking into ideas concerning abnormality/normality, ugliness/beauty, ideals and unfinished forms in relation to the idea of perfect finished forms, as well as things that are conceptually ugly but visually beautiful.
