MA work

MA work

Through objects, installation and jewellery, our time is illustrated and explored.

Today’s degree of movement, portability and consumption within cities require navigation skills beyond what is offered by conventions. I am fascinated by the potential, presence and emotional impact of ‘stuff’ in our lives. The everyday ephemeral actions, gestures and matter that make us and shape our culture are often overlooked.

Via engaging, direct approaches, matter and material transform. By encrusting, encapsulating and solidifying familiar things, I seek to challenge function and perception.
