An Absurd Machine: Branding, Design and the City
An Absurd Machine: Branding, Design and the City is an exploration of urban life. With occasional historical investigation, and an emphasis on the issues of housing and its branding. This book focuses on the convergence between branding, design, place, and politics. Blending architecture, urbanism, current affairs, pop culture, philosophy, literature, theory and design into an eclectic overall picture of metropolitan living; past, present and future.
It is the thesis of writer and graphic designer Theo Inglis, completed on the Critical Writing in Art & Design MA course at the Royal College of Art in 2017.
