My works distant themselves further from me as an artist the more I become aware that every representation lacks something. I am reminded when looking at these shadows that the space composed is just a space, with its rules and dimensions, and representation is repeated. And as each disrupted space looks back at me, I can appreciate its simple shape and form as the humble representations of our fumbling search for something meaningful. I am fulfilling an emptiness that reigns otherwise.
