This project is an exploration of pattern, sequence and repetitive structures. I have researched the relationship between sound frequencies and woven textiles using the rhythmic elements of sound in conjunction with the pattern repetition of textiles. The collection includes a series of fabrics for interior spaces inspired by sound visualisations, the contrast between noise and silence, digital malfunction and pattern disruption. Combining hand weaving with Jacquard designing I have created a collection of interior fabrics that demonstrate my passion for pattern in any form and shape.
