Ink on paper
I shape ideas through drawing and mark-making processes involving the re-use and manipulation of materials. Working from 2D into 3D sculptural installation, I am interested in deconstructing both our sense of place and the tactile experience of environments - often through collaborative processes. Through dialogue, recording and mapping, this research feeds back into my design thinking as I aim to discover approaches and strategies that enable visual, tactile and kinaesthetic learning experiences.
