North-East Wis-Dom
North-East Wis-Dom is textual space comprised of animated mouths, disembodied voices and an assemblage of
stone statue bases printed on plastic, mixing rocks and inscriptions
from before and after periods of colonisation of their site of origin. Visitors are encouraged to enter and explore the work as a digitalogical space whereby the objects’ 3-dimensionality and physical reliability are in question.
Are they hollow and if so what does this mean?
Floating objects, monuments and bodily organs are released into the digital space, rendered skins of the things they are purposed to represent. Brittle monuments – spineless, yet capable of movement, subjects of mass circulation and manipulation as desirable objects.  Â

I have a background in printmaking and currently work across sound, sculpture and collaboration.
My work is an ongoing process of exploring how much of the western identity can be constructed from diverse popular sources and how the mouth may be the modulator for such regurgitations and formations. This leads me to exploring digitalogical space as a critical tool to understanding the hollow nature of objects and monuments that characterise our time.
