As an observer, I capture various actualities resulting from different situations, as well as depicting the interaction between place and people by collating events and reconstructing places. The connection between an individual and surroundings gives a space an identity, making it a place that contains a relationship between the surroundings and the person. This encouraged me to think about how the characteristics of a particular place will change depending on who dominates it and how. In my work, I visualise my interest with a shadow as a metaphor of experience and reality. The shadow within a given place represents the situation of a moment.
