The Bookinprogress

The Bookinprogress is a fiction project by Studio SFCH. Starting with Spring of 2018 it will be published quarterly, the future of the narrative defined by the collisions, turmoil and happenings of the real world. Each episode is a reflection on the contemporary phenomena in a fable-esque manner presented. You may subscribe to the project at sfch.studio 

In a dis/utopian alternate dimension ‘It’ follows a path of discovering the underlying truths of the reign of the Temples. The debut episode of a Bookinprogress series tempts It with a freedom of decision making, through which It discovers the unimaginable facets of senses. However in a world devoured by a Nuclear Winter, every deviation comes with a price. 

Every instalment comes in 7 chapters.

For the RCA Degree Show the project is presented as an audio and mixed-media installation narrated by the author.

  • Studio SFCH is an artist-as-organisation founded in London in 2016 which facilitates collaborative work in highly regimented environments: social constructs, educational institutions, politically-stagnated territories. Defying association and identification the number of its members is always fluid and its mediums of engagement span across investigative journalism, political art, curation and creative writing.
