Focusing on my keen interest in archiving, cataloguing and classifying objects, I am fascinated by the contextual history of things. Aiming to encourage curiosity in the concepts and subjects behind the objects I create. By unearthing historical processes I am not only referencing the past in my work but highlighting the relevance of historical collections to contemporary practice. I use this knowledge to understand and explain the role of objects and adornment within systems of value, past and present.
