ADVANCE - The premium late night commute

My final major project ADVANCE is a premium late-night commuting service for professionals in London. It was developed in cooperation with Jaguar Land Rover's InMotion Ventures.

ADVANCE is tackling the problem of a stressful commute that impacts people's health and wellbeing as well as their productivity and their social life.

Focusing on the commute late at night, two of the main problems are unreliable public transport and high taxi fares.

Companies who are taking on the service are offering it to their employees in order to reduce their stress level and ensure a safe and relaxing ride home after they have been working late or have joined a company event.

The ADVANCE users are able to choose between two luxurious Jaguar Land Rover vehicles and three ADVANCE experience packages which they can book combined with the vehicle of their choice.

    MA Service Design, 2018

  • As a former Transportation Designer my main focus and interest lies in the Mobility sector. However, the human-centred design approach that I have been able to learn and practice in my MA in Service Design has brought User Experience Design closer to my attention.

Drawing my inspiration from all kinds of design as well as from everyday life, I am looking to find a way to bring more human-centred design into the mobility sector and by that help to transform the way mobility is designed.
