My practice is an exploration of the concept of translation. In particular this connects to a notion of cross-linking or coextensivity. I am invested in the possibility of evoking the legibility of each sensation, while being aware of the potential of what can be produced. In translation it might be assumed that there is a right or wrong way but my sense of this is that it is a dynamic of both representing and hiding at the same time. So it is also a matter of holding a tension between what can be seen and what is withdrawn from that to indicate an elsewhere of a different mode of legibility.
