What Did You Say?
What Did You Say? is an audio-visual installation allowing the audience to travel through the playful miscues of communication that were inspired from my own personal experience with hearing loss. Visible or not, what we communicate may never be as clear as what’s in our heads.

I use the language of sound and illustration to create new form of narrative. I like to create playful pieces that challenge the idea of clarity by using the process of miscommunication. Drawing from my own hearing loss experience, I want the audience to perceive miscommunication as something positive, not something negative.Â
