The pursuit of the sublime is problematic; we are always humbled by nature. Instead, I worship the machine. The machine does not strive to be beautiful in itself. It is tireless, dignified and never judges its creations.
In my work the end products and the machine share the same stage. The performance of production ritualises the objects' birth and the products become artefacts at the moment of conception.
