Sara Burns
MA work
MA work
I create ambient experience for public and domestic spaces, ranging from video paintings, and animated light wallpaper to interactive environments. I have increasingly been drawn to designing with various forms of light. My work explores optics, phantasmagoria, new technology and materials, natural phenomena and projections using special effects projectors, digital photography and video. I draw from both hi-tech and low-tech processes.
I am available for bespoke commissions for private individuals and companies as well as consulting for architects and designers.
I am currently producing a series of abstract video paintings for home cinema.
