According to ONS (Office for National Statistics) in the UK, the total fertility rate is increasing recently so more British parents are travelling with their young children. London has a higher ratio (7.2 per cent) of young children who are aged 0-4 than the UK average (6.2 per cent). It also shows that there are more parents who tend to travel with babies here. In terms of population density, this city is far higher compared to the average in UK. Surprisingly, daytime population (9,300,000) exploded against its own resident population (7,900,000).

Public transportation is a very important service for urban parents who need to lead an urban lifestyle with their baby. They are getting on and off buses and tubes with bulky and heavy baby pushchair. Some parents are trying to use foldable pushchairs but it's quite painful for them to carry the baby with folded pushchairs. Probably using a private car is a convenient solution for parents, but many studies show the problem of owning and using a car in a crowded urban area.

Wearing the baby can be a good solution to increasing passenger flow in crowded public transportation. There is no blocking aisles or occupying huge spaces with a pushchair. However, carrying a child’s weight for a long time is physically difficult.

The idea is a ‘Wearing Baby and Sharing Stroller’ for urban parents who are travelling by public transportation and wearing children. Firstly, parents can wear their baby in crowded space.
