Finding beauty in the ultimately mysterious subjects, which breach the limits of human understanding, is where my practice takes its inspiration.
I create visual experiences that become more about seeing than fully understanding, operating between the abstract and the scientific.
Natural phenomena, such as the northern lights and rainbows, are of special interest to me as they all, naturally, produce unexpected occurrences of light and colour.
Exploring themes of abstraction using light and colour, through a variety of practices including print, video and installation, I aim to evoke both the beauty and feelings of incomprehensibility generated by such natural phenomena.
