Kabbalistic Synthesizer

The Kabbalistic Synthesizer is an instrument that takes live scientific observations and translates them into sound/music. In a traditional synthesiser you would combine electric signals and noise, then control the pitch and time with the help of a keyboard. The Kabbalistic Synthesizer combines signals generated from the Earth's magnetic field, decametric noise from the Sun/Jupiter and cosmic rays in place of a keyboard.

    MA Design Interactions, 2015

  • I am a London-based composer and sound artist. I received a First Class BA from the London College of Communication Sound Art and Design Department under the guidance of Ed Baxter, Thomas Gardner, David Toop and Peter Cusack. At the RCA during my time in Design Interactions, I have been exploring sound specifically with the intention of following its extensions and abstractions into the grey area that exists between music, design and technology.
