MA work
My work looks toward the unstable infrastructure of the photographic image. Using chemical solutions that fail to fix the image, I seek to ask questions of the central impossibility of re-presenting the event. Below the form that the photographic instant presents, lies another form. This latent form is that of blackness, of continued change over time. The act of looking presents the us with an effacement of trace.
