MA work

MA work

The rigours of work are pleasurable, educational and essential to life. Hours lost on the bus or in the waiting room may be spent unravelling reality in thought, until your stop comes up or the doctor calls you in, summoning with it concrete forms, words, messages and intentions. The differences between the wild forms of unmediated thought and conscious action signal a mystery, rich and unsolved, about how humans define the boundaries of their worlds. The studio is a fundamental place for exploration, and the studio is everywhere. As an artist, I believe in the artistic potential of others.
