Phantom Vibrations

Mixed media installation exploring sexual fluidity, social awkwardness, and ‘internet disorder’. Phantom Vibrations looks into the offline and online, and how the difference between the two is becoming even more blurred. Is there such thing as online and offline or have they become one? The film will look into how our generation is influenced by internet culture. How we are all dependent on technology and how we express ourselves emotionally and sexually by these means.

  • Women are my muses, the internet is my Jesus Christ, sex, and the glaring blue screen light is what inspires me to write poems that don’t rhyme but make hearts cry. People, spaces and things around me, IRL and URLs are what interest me. Transforming and uploading ourselves into our desired super beings is our new form of expression, typing and staring into the screen is our new form of communication. How has the internet changed the way we love, express our emotions, behave as sexual beings? These are all questions that I tackle in my work, while constantly refreshing my email page and awaiting the message tone.
