I am a Romanian Animation Director an Animator.
Being a child in an East European communist country back in the 1980s was a unique media and visual experience, one marked by a scarcity that understandably made the rare encounter with animation truly vibrant. Fortunately and ironically enough, this was the beginning of my long term addiction to the genre.
As I moved from being an Animator to working as an Animation Director, my focus shifted from mastering technique to creating plot, character and a meaningfully immersive experience.
