Dark Fruit explores the inevitable rise of nanotechnology in the food industry. With rapidly expanding markets for organic produce, can our desire for the authenticity of nature and our pursuit of technological advancement, be reconciled by the alchemic ability of nutraceutical nanotechnology? We are offered a future of food enhanced with drug-delivery systems, where foodhalls are the new pharmacies - but how will the fallout effect tomorrow’s cities?
