MA work

MA work

My goal is to create atmospheric work that captures a specific mood through narrative sequences and standalone pieces of art. Recent inspiration has been the biographical. Other people’s lives fascinate me, as does reportage on places, travel, architecture and history.

Drawing is therapeutic, and I believe the state of mind emerges subtly in each image ensuring the work remains personal and unique, while answering to an external brief if necessary. I aim to undertake commissioned work as well as exhibiting self-initiated projects and book illustration.
