sw·oo·n: poised in non-spectacular ambiguity
‘sw·oo·n: poised in non spectacular ambiguity’ captures a moment of portraiture, looped continuously and enveloped by a Lavender aroma. An unfixed physical form slowly shifts and displaces, abstracting and snaps back to the recognisable.

Ro Hardaker flirts with particular articulations of identity which oscillate between tease and resistance. Through performance and writing they layer gestures which chart a relationship to and with the body; forming and improvising subject positions which consider the politics of care, the occupying of space, hidden labour and precarious nowness. Hardaker poses the body as a shifting archive, utilising their quivering, fleshy, warm-blooded vertebrate form to tease out tensions and question fixed logics of embodiment.
