MA work

MA work

'The world is not dual; that below and that above are one and the same. The difference is but distance and motion.'

Aristotle

A mixed-discipline approach to work, using components and objects essentially associated with the home and DIY. Playing with the familiar to create new meanings, transforming tile spaces, screws and bolts, the mundane - the everyday - into objects of interest, and changing the status they hold. A step-by-step examination of perspective and scale which unearths domestic issues, gender and the human condition.
