Topologies
My work relates to the idea of the thread, the line, the indication of a path. I create pieces that seem incomplete; however, they form sections of a bigger idea/piece. I care about connections and attachment, to things, people and places. To address this I connect, support or make stronger fragile, ephemeral materials. When wrapped with the hair these combined materials create a connection, a point of contact with the body.
