Ray O’Meara

MA work

While my work ranges from typeface design to curatorial and editorial work, it is informed by an awareness of its historical and everyday contexts. I’m fascinated with the radical and classical and how one can become the other over time, both in design and in a wider cultural sense.

I enjoy investigating the purpose of design and what gives it longevity, its anima and the combined elements that create an aesthetic.

Ideally, I aim to keep my approach to design dynamic, while offering bespoke services that play with, or stray away from, the contemporary conventions of graphic design.
