MA work

MA work

My work explores male identity and interests as the core route of inspiration.

This collection focused on an eclectic range of interests: heraldry, 1980s TV shows, comics, toys and contemporary 'men's fashion'.

The fabric collection focuses on unusual components through the use of mark making, discarded shapes and material. I use print as a focus technique but combine the use of embroidery and weave to create a range of interior fabrics and products for a quirky interior setting.
