All at Once
This is instinctive thought
honest observation
this is imagination
escapism
and reality
this is nothing and this is everything
all at once
Exploring how tone of voice, time, layers and loops can communicate an expanded narrative, concerned with the beauty and fragility of everyday life. Researching and experimenting into the theme of ‘uncertainty’ using text, visual language and projection, in order to create psychological spaces that create a mood, feeling and connection to the audience.

Rachel Davey is interested in observing, exploring and giving voice to the realm of the unsaid, unheard and interior voice, making visible what isn’t visible in everyday life. Her practice acts as a catalyst to facilitate conversations, picking apart how text and image operate and amalgamating this back into everyday spaces.
Using drawing, writing, moving image, projection and sound; Rachel is interested in pushing the boundaries of illustration and graphic art.
