Simple but not simple
A vision for minimalist future mobility. Rethinking the relationship between vehicle, owners and living space. Aiming to explore a new living experience with your own vehicle. See the car as part of your home decor when parked but also as an independent self-driving or autonomous vehicle for the user to decide. Inspired by several minimalist artists such as Anish Kapoor and Ellsworth Kelly. The minor change of the surface section becomes a main theme of the design which creates subtle changes of light and shadow in order to achieve the “simple but not simple” design intention.

Po-Wei Lee is a multi-disciplinary designer who combines his industrial design background with vehicle design. Having experience both in a product design studio and automobile company, he is inspired by the craftsmanship spirit and the simplicity of refinement but also looking for things that could be the best and the most simple solution. He is now passionate about creating a new aesthetic and user experience for future vehicle.
