Everything a designer transforms and manipulates originates in nature, which is a system balanced and nourished by multiple and complex interactions. Everything, from matter to beings to contexts, is a component and compound of these interactions.
The series of experimentations and their outcomes, Porcelain versus Steel, uncovers the behaviour of each material, revealing one another in an interactive-firing-making process that challenges their respective characters and qualities.
Benches are usually designed to resist the action of sitting. To initiate a dynamic interaction with their audience in their space, the WormBenches harness the energy received through their function and react with it, looking for new [co]incidences in time and space.
