I use drawing or painting in order to recollect memories. My intention is to depict the immaterial. In that sense, drawing operates as an instinctive and primitive activity that allows one to make a mark out of the impalpable. It is an inner vision; a mental as well as sensorial experience triggered by history, memory and fantasy.
