The human body is designed internally and externally to squat when relieving itself. 'Le Penseur' (The Thinker) aims to reinstate the positive health benefits of this ancient position, while removing the negative connotations and muscular difficulty.
The toilet is one of the most often used, but least spoken of domestic products. The project investigates the taboos and habits around toilet use and innovates a solution that increases the users day-to-day wellbeing, relieving stress as well as preventing long-term digestive health problems.
