futureTATfactory: an institution of cyberethic governance and digital information regulation

futureTATfactory questions how an institution that regulates digital information and incites cyber-ethic governance might simultaneously be designed for, and materialise the salient attributes of new Tech labour cultures.

As a regulatory bureaucracy and centre of creation, futureTATfactory is an infrastructure – a layering of landscapes to host varying modes of work. The ground floor is a field of production – an exercise in urbanism which creates an intensely civic space. The multiplicity of circulation creates various speeds of movement throughout the vast central void. The architecture incites a gradient of rigid work organization at its periphery, to informal gathering at its centre, disrupted by elements of kinetic programmatic pieces which constantly reconfigure the factory environment.
