Observing the Observers

The British Museum refers to its complex network of security cameras as ‘The System’. Museum artefacts are observed by visitors, museum visitors are observed by the system. Can we experience a museum’s collection or an exhibition through these all-seeing eyes of the institution? This project aims to give access back to visitors by presenting these cameras as tools of engagement and communication.
