Generative workshops which include brainstorming are a popular activity in today’s work environment. Professionally facilitated, these workshops can provide great value, allowing companies to harvest and fuel the creativity of their employees and stay ahead of the market.

Unfortunately a lot of these workshops are badly prepared and lack proper moderation. Therefore participants perceive them as a waste of their time and the outcome does not fulfil their expectations.

Another issue is that social dynamics negatively impact the outcome of the top performer and can make some people uncomfortable to contribute.

Unsuccessful workshops are not only expensive in terms of financials but also negatively affect employees motivation and contribution.

This project addresses the aforementioned issues by providing a new way to plan and conduct workshops with a digital platform. By introducing a new concept of digital collaboration, Leonto gives inexperienced facilitators guidance in planning and moderation. It helps in shaping a new culture in companies to conduct workshops, make them more efficient, and addresses the bad reputation they have today. 

The outcome is a progressive web application with two core functionalities. It helps facilitators to plan and moderate workshops and allows online brainstorming.

By changing the process and allowing idea generation before the workshop, my solution gives people who were unheard before a way to contribute and allows individuals to generate ideas at times when they are most creative.

Instead of banning devices such as smart phones and laptops in workshops it gives these devices a space to add value to the workshop.
