Green Fire
Green Fire is an innovative fireplace to burn wood more efficiently creating more value for the user and the environment.
The project is an exploration into the consumption of wood and where along the lifecycle of the material can design create more value. The embodiment of the design process is a contemporary smoke free fireplace which lets the user enjoy traditional fire and its benefits but in a more sustainable and efficient way. The fireplace burns wood with a carbon negative impact and produces biochar for urban farming.
