Nicolas Lissajoux
MA work
MA work
Lissajoux's versatile and innovative work reveals a visual vocabulary that is often based on bright colours and traditional weaves. Different materials are combined with polypropylene to challenge the use of natural against synthetic (recyclable) fibres which are then exposed to a series of heat treatments.
All his pieces are hand-woven and have numerous properties, suitable for use in architecture, product, interior design and high-end fashion/accessories, and consider ecological and social environment issues throughout the design process. For his final luxury collection, Lissajoux's vibrant colour inspiration comes from a series of photographs recently taken in Egypt.
