    Ceramics & Glass, 2012–2013

  • Nicholas Lees is a graduate of University of the West of England (BA) and University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (MA). His work has been exhibited widely in this country and overseas and is held in private and public collections including York City Art Gallery, Westerwald Keramikmuseum in Germany and Royal Caribbean International. His sculpture has won several awards including 3rd prize at the Premio Faenza (Italy) in 2003, and the National Sculpture Award from the Bluecoat Display Centre in Liverpool in 2010. He has combined his artistic practice with a career in higher education, as a Senior Lecturer at Bath Spa University between 2000 and 2010.
