ADS2: Big Crunch!
My work at the RCA has explored the cultural possibilities of the abstract or invisible systems that underpin life in the city, from emergency readiness to carbon consumerism. This year my project proposes the ‘Hotel d’Offset: Where Commercial Imperative Can Turn Community Provider’. It is an endless economy hotel for a changed economic landscape, a megastructure of local responsibility, a city-sized proposition built out of a room-sized idea.
