In my final year project, I have picked on my fascination for ageing materials, junkyards and eroding surfaces. This leads me to exploring and expressing  the aspect of ‘beauty in the discarded’ through a series of photographs, material experiments to weaving a combination of precious and upcycled materials.
This on-going project involves experimenting with textile finishes, material explorations, prints and jewellery techniques, alongside weaving fabrics. It has also involved travelling, research and harnessing traditional handicraft techniques. I foresee the applications of these materials as a very interesting and evolving alternative luxury, expressed through lifestyle interiors, spaces and accessories.Â

I have a keen interest in cross-cultural learning and a passion for developing hand-crafted materials across fashion, lifestyle interior and spaces and automotive industry. I enjoy challenging preconceived ideas, whilst playing with different traditional and new techniques to generate varied expressions through textiles.
