MA work
Weaving makes my creativity blossom, because it has so many possibilities and its own originality. My final woven collection is created with fashion in mind, in a variety of versatile techniques, colour and texture. Double-layered fabrics are worked on and cut in different arrangements to create three dimensional fabrics and new patterns, which play on transparency and opacity. Inspiration comes from natural forms in everyday life; the shadows of monumental architecture such as churches and castles, as well as the sky, flowers, walking in the park, laughter with friends...
